Six musicians with different musical backgrounds united by a deep-rooted love for bluegrass
Mandolin & vocals
David was just 12 years old when he got his first mandolin lesson. In 2010, he stood at the cradle of the Suncourt Ramblers and has been driving the band's signature sound ever since.
Double bass & vocals
Eva is the youngest member and joined the band in 2019. She followed various music and theater trainings and developed into a true musical all-rounder.
Guitar & vocals
Drums and cymbals were Eric's childhood love, but inspired by the handmade guitars of Jos Maesen, his love for the acoustic guitar grew into the instrument he plays with passion in the Suncourt Ramblers.
Fiddle & voice
Classically trained but drawn to Irish folk and bluegrass, Peter co-founded the band in 2011. His lively fiddle playing and strong harmonies bring energy and authenticity to the Ramblers’ sound.
Dobro & vocals
A self-taught guitarist turned award-winning guitar builder, Jos discovered bluegrass and was captivated by the dobro’s unique sound — so he built his own. As a founding member, he brings craftsmanship, soul, and unmistakable slide tones to the band.
Accordion & vocals
From entertaining family parties as a child to playing folk and rock, Jos has come full circle with his accordion. Back on stage and in his element, he adds warmth, character, and a distinctive touch to the Ramblers’ acoustic sound.
